In response to the outbreak of the respiratory disease caused by coronavirus (COVID-19) , the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended medical professionals to use respirators.
The CDC recommends an N95 filtering facepiece respirator (FFR) respirator which filters out at least 95% of very small (0.3 micron) particles, including bacteria and viruses.

The PP-30-D is a high efficiency “Barrier Filter” media that can be used in a variety of facial mask and respirators that require particulate matter to be filtered at 0.3 micron. This extremely light weight ePTFE filter, when sandwiched between an inner and outer PP or PSB layer, will filter out 99% of particulate at 0.3 micron. 100% hydrophobic and washable, the PP-30-D is a performance upgrade to meltblown media.
